Cancellation Policy

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY Complete your health intake form before your first session. Disclose all health conditions, medications (especially blood thinners), recent surgeries, and allergies, etc. Speak up during your session if pressure is uncomfortable. Withholding health information releases the therapist from liability for related adverse effects. DEEP TISSUE & THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE It is normal to experience muscle soreness, stiffness, or tenderness for 24–72 hours following a deep tissue or therapeutic massage. Minor bruising may occasionally occur in areas of chronic tension or skin sensitivity. These are recognized, expected responses to therapeutic bodywork — not signs of injury or negligence. By booking, you acknowledge and accept these potential effects. PERCUSSION THERAPY (THERAGUN) Percussive therapy may cause temporary muscle soreness, skin redness, or minor bruising at the treatment site. These are normal expected outcomes and do not constitute injury or negligence. CONTRAINDICATIONS Do not book if you have: active fever or infection, blood clots or DVT, open wounds, recent surgery (within 6 weeks), or active cancer treatment, or anything that may be a major health issue — without physician clearance first. The Mystic Holistic Studio LLC and its therapists are not liable for post-session soreness, bruising, fatigue, or temporary discomfort that are normal physiological responses to massage therapy, provided services were delivered professionally and in accordance with industry standards. CANCELLATION / BOOKING POLICY A $22 deposit is required to secure all à la carte appointments. This deposit is applied toward your session total at the time of service. A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows will result in the following charges: 30-minute sessions, Theragun standalone, and Specialty Treatment — deposit is forfeited. No additional charge. 60-minute sessions — deposit is forfeited plus an $18 cancellation fee. 90-minute sessions — deposit is forfeited plus a $28 cancellation fee. I understand that emergencies happen — please contact me directly, and I will work with you on a case-by-case basis. Package holders are not subject to automatic cancellation fees. Life happens — if you need to cancel or reschedule, reach out directly, and I'll work with you one-on-one. Consistent and repeated no-shows may affect your package terms.
